Delta Fairbridge 7km GRP Effluent Pipeline

The project involved the design and construction of a 400mm diameter gravity glass reinforced pipe effluent line with an overall length of approximately seven kilometres.

Its purpose was to convey treated effluent from the sorghum plant to the municipal trunk sewer in Mahatshula North while also enabling future sewer connections for expanding suburbs in greater Bulawayo.

The works were completed within a record four-week period through close coordination between the client, engineers, local authority representatives and the pipe supplier.
